The History of Corner Cottage  Peter Date was intrigued by his house, a grade 2 listed building near the church in Baslow. So he investigated, and wrote up this history of Corner Cottage.  Richard Sheppard had added (2020) more about the Coates family

Eastern Moors Dissertation.  This detailed work by   J.P.G. Mailer  – a dissertation for a university degree –  is a comprehensive review of quarrying remains on the eastern moors above Baslow.

Methodist Church Celia Miller was the wife of the local methodist minister. She wrote this short history of Methodism in Baslow
