6.1 Family Trees

This family tree page covers almost all the main families in Baslow in the 1600s to the mid 1800s.  The information comes mainly from parish records, memorial inscriptions and the censuses.  Lesser sources include contributions from individual descendants, for which I am very grateful.

In many instances I have extra notes about a family. These are on the next page 6.2 (Sometimes these notes are also included with the family tree.)

Please note – there is no guarantee of accuracy.  Occasionally I have guessed relationships and the serious historian should check original sources.  Having said that I thinkthat most are valid. When looking at tree a black squares denotes a parent child relationship .  A “?” suggests a relationship that I cannot substantiate.

If you think I am wrong. please tell me so I can make a correction – dds
